Loveland Orchestra presents An All-Beethoven Program

Ludwig van Beethoven is easily recognized as one of the greatest composers and pianists of all time. This year the musical world celebrates the 250th anniversary of his birth.

On Friday, March 6, the Loveland Orchestra will present an All-Beethoven Concert at the Good Shepherd Church, 3429 N. Monroe Ave., Loveland, CO 80538. A pre-concert discussion of the music by Conductor Louie Silvestri at 7:00 precedes the concert. The performance begins at 7:30pm.

The program includes Overture to Fidelio, Beethoven’s only opera, the melodic, enchanting Piano Concerto #5, also known as the Emperor Concerto, featuring concert pianist Julie King, and the majestic and beloved Symphony #5. In the words of conductor Louie Silvestri this will be “a magical evening of great music from YOUR Loveland Orchestra! Sit back and enjoy our tribute to one of history’s greatest composers!”

The Loveland Orchestra consists of over 60 musicians, amateur and professional, from Loveland and the surrounding area. We hope you will come and enjoy this tribute to Ludwig van Beethoven.

Tickets for the concert are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets may be purchased at the box office prior to the performance or online at www.LovelandOrchestra.org.
