Coldplay Travel The World For 'Everyday Life' Video: Watch

The title track to Coldplay's Everyday Life is a special song, so it's no wonder the band chose to pair it with special visuals. This week, the video premiered on South African community TV station Soweto TV. It was shot in South Africa, Morocco, and Ukraine and directed by 23-year-old Karena Evans, who is famous for helming a number of Drake videos including “Nice for What,” “God’s Plan” and “In My Feelings.”

The poignant clip begins with a spoken word intro. “‘Ubuntu’ is a Xhosa word…It means ‘humanity,’ direct translation," a voice explains while dancers conduct traditional dances in the video's different locales. "So basically, you’ll always need the next person. You know what I mean? So one hand washes the other, the one hand does need the other to clean. That is Ubuntu. To help others, your brothers, your sisters. Even when they are strangers and you don’t know them, you are supposed to help them.”
