Bleachers Are Ending The Year With A Slew Of West Coast Shows

2017 The Governors Ball Music Festival - Day 1

While fans are getting antsy for Bleachers to release their third album, it sounds like the band is getting antsy to get out of the studio and play some lives shows.

On Monday (October 14), Jack Antonoff's indie pop project announced the I Love Making This Album But I'm Also Losing My Mind In Here & Need To Come Out And Play tour, which sees Bleachers playing in Sacramento, Las Vegas, and Anaheim at the end of December.

"couldn’t let 2019 end without seeing you again" Antonoff captioned the announcement on Instagram.

The shows come after a few teasers from inside the studio, indicating that Bleachers are working on new music. Though we haven't received any details about the upcoming project, it's exciting to know new music is on the way! Check out the mini-tour announcement below.

It's no wonder Antonoff is getting antsy to play live shows—he's been in the studio a lot the past couple years. Aside from working on songs for P!nk, St. Vincent, and Kevin Abstract, the writer and producer also produced tracks for Taylor Swift's Lover and Lana Del Rey's Norman F**king Rockwell this year.

He co-produced Swift's track "Lover" and shared a series of tweets upon the song's release. "the part i’m most proud of is her voice drowned in verb," he wrote about the recording process, "cuts right through and sits all around you at the same time."
